ok so maybe this is boring, but here’s another easy soba-veg-broth bowl. why? because i’ve been eating some variation of this at least a few times a week. it’s great for fridge clearing, quick, easy, warm tasty soup times that will fill you up.
day 4! our last full day of vacation. we got up early and went to Sweet Pea and shared a bagel with olive cream cheese and a stuffed croissant. and coffee. delicious as always, i love sweet pea.
OOOOOOOOO GOODNESS. this was a good sandwich. a little bit of prep time but worthwhile. the breaded eggplant part of the recipe could also be used for eggplant parimgian.
i made the most sushi the other day. i like to just prep a bunch of fillings and figure out combinations as i go. this is mostly a suggestion of fillings for you to try out! I used the spicy tempeh filling from my last sushi as well as the new seitan, eggplant and shitake fillings. any one of these three will make for fancy times in your sushi life.
a friend of mine mentioned that she ate an eggplant bahn mi in san francisco and my brain exploded. so i made this. i’ve never made any kind of vietnamese sub, so i’m sure there is room for improvement which i will share when i figure it out. until then, this was pretty delicious.
